Oreo Truffles

If you’re a big Oreo fan, you are going to loooove these truffles! These are probably the easiest sweets to make. So if you’re craving something sweet and want to impress yourself by making something in the kitchen that is freaking delicious, beautiful, and that you can eat within 30 mins, BAM – this is it!

Decorating these truffles is probably my favorite part, asides from eating them.
These Oreo truffles are usually gone within a few minutes in my home. Love that they’re so simple and quick to make.

course: SWEETS

cuisine: AMERICAN

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz Oreo’s
  • 8 oz (1 package) Cream Cheese
  • White/Milk/Dark Chocolate

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start by blending the Oreo’s into crumbs. If you have a blender this should be the easiest process for you, if not then place the Oreo’s in a plastic bag and beat the bag with either with a spatula or your hand, or whichever way works for ya lol.
  2. Microwave the cream cheese for about 20 seconds or until its soft and creamy.
  3. In a medium sized bowl, place the Oreo crumbs along with the softened cream cheese (save a bit of the crumbs on the side for decorating later). By using your hand, start combining both ingredients together until its soft and dough like.
  4. Form equally sized balls with your hands by doing a circling motion until the balls are perfectly round.
  5. Place the round Oreo balls into the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, melt the chocolates. I melt the chocolate by placing it onto a small shallow bowl and adding a bit of oil, then microwaving for a few seconds at a time and consistently stirring and making sure not to burn it.
  7. Dip the Oreo balls into chocolate and place them in the refrigerator for the chocolate to harden.
  8. Decorate the Truffles with which way your heart desires.
  9. Enjoy!
