Cheesy Garlic Knots
These are to DIE for! And i’m not over exaggerating. I have made this many times and it never disappoints! I feel like my family loves me only for this exact reason. Very VERY simple to make.
PIZZA DOUGH INGREDIENTS
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1 ½- 2 cups flour
INGREDIENTS
- Pizza dough
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- ¾ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp Feta cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp of chopped garlic
- ¼ cup of melted butter
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup fresh chopped Parsley
- ¼ cup fresh chopped Basil
INSTRUCTIONS
- With floured hands, divide pizza dough into 11-13 equal sized balls.
- Place the knots in a ring onto a coated 10-inch oven-safe skillet with olive oil. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rest about 30 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Feta, Basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Melt the butter and add Parsley and garlic.
- Scoop the dip into the center of the skillet. Brush the knots with the butter/garlic mixture. Sprinkle the top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375 F for about 30 minutes. Broil on High for 2 additional minutes, or until knots get light browned.
